Whoo hoo! Another vendor spot confirmed today! That brings our total to 46!! The sun is shining and summer has arrived in Nyssa. Tom (the event chairperson) and his team are putting up banners today. The program has gone to the printer, but you can see it first by visiting the chamber's website at www.nyssachamber.com and following the link to Thunderegg Days. You'll see we have three full days of activities...hurrah! Jim the printer just brought in our order of programs. I'll be distributing them around town later today.
The countdown is on to July 8 and our 45th annual Thunderegg Days Festival. I hope to see you there! Susan

Rock Tours!
Hey there rockhounds! We'd love it if you would join one of our rock tours. You have to get up early because they leave at 7 a.m. We have a great guide and know you'll have a good time. You need to bring water and lunch...sunscreen and a hat too. Our weather has been cool and cloudy, but we are hoping for sunny days in July. The charge is $5.00 per car. You need to sign up at the tour desk and get your car flag. On Thursday the tour will look for moss agate, Friday pink plume and on Saturday (4 wheel drive vehicle required, plus pick and shovel) thundereggs. It's a lot of fun!

One month! Thunderegg Days 2010 will open on July 8. We are excited about our vendors, artisans, concessions and entertainment. Our rock tour guide has three trips planned to find moss agate, pink plume and, of course, thundereggs - the official Oregon state rock. Opening ceremony is at noon on Thursday, and from that point on there is a lot to do and see. Come and visit us...
