Another Thunderegg Days Festival is in the memory book. The Chamber works very hard to bring this event to Nyssa for our community and visitors to enjoy. We hope you had a great time! An enthusiastic crowd enjoyed "Get Back" a Beatles tribute band on Saturday night. Many also enjoyed the Chamber's annual BBQ rib dinner. Lip smackin' good! The Nyssa Volunteer Fire Department had a dunk tank which was fun to watch....it was a warm day so the dunkees didn't seem to mind cooling off when someone hit the dunk button. Thanks NVFD for all you do for our community!
There were 15 cars headed out bright and early for the rock tour. Saturday is always Thunderegg day...I didn't get to see the group when they returned, but am certain everyone found an egg or two (or three....) Thanks Walt for being a great rock guide!
Thank you to everyone who helped out, we can't do this event without volunteers! To our vendors, we appreciate you...it wouldn't be an event without the food, rocks, gems and artisans. And a special thanks to everyone who came to enjoy Thunderegg Days...Nyssa residents, Malheur County residents as well as visitors from Idaho, Washington, California, Virginia, British Columbia Canada and others who may not have signed our guest book.
